Dolphin Watching Tours Byron Bay

December till May

Dolphin watching tours Byron Bay, shark, sea turtle, manta ray encounters and more!

Our vessel is the only one on the east coast of mainland Australia equipped with a fully submersible ROV (remotely operated vehicle). Basically, it's a mini submarine which carries lights and a video camera, that sends colour video to 2 plasma screens on board. You can view endangered grey nurse sharks at the Julian Rocks, and a host of other marine life that inhabits one of the top ten dive sites in Australia.

With 4 video cameras on board, including our 'bow cam', we will encounter Byron Bay's resident bottle nose dolphins inshore and offshore, as well as common dolphins which never fail to fascinate and amuse!

As part of the whale watching Byron Bay experience we also visit the wreck of the TSS Wollongbar, lost off the beach in 1921.

When the whales have gone south for the summer our dolphin watching tours Byron Bay offer you an experience not to be missed.
